History of our company
We started tradition of metal processing in 1942. It was a modest blacksmith’s shop in the village of Gugalj, near Pozega. Our grandfather Milos Jankovic, created first metal products in it. He was a skilled craftsman, but above all a persistent one.
Our, perhaps, the most important year is 1981 – when Janko Jankovic decided to turn the blacksmith’s trade into machine production of perforated sheets. At that time, with great support of his wife Marija, he opened a private craft shop in Pozega. It was not only an innovative, but also a brave move. From one small provincial shop two of them, with harmony and creativity produced perforated sheets and other demanding metal parts too.
Building up a new office space in Pozega, the production capacity was significantly expanded. We established cooperation with renowned companies in Yugoslavia… from Slovenia to Macedonia.
The year when breakdown of Yugoslavia and the common market happened… it was followed by difficult years in which the company managed to survive.
Intensive development of the tool room began as one of the key parts of the company.
New production space was completed. The investment cycle and modernization of production began with the purchase of modern CNC presses for punching and bending.
We established four-year successful cooperation with consultants from Japan, started the implementation of Kaizen, 5s… Sales and development were focused on the most demanding markets in Europe, we began export to Germany, France, Holland…
By expanding the production space – opening Perfom – plant 2, created conditions for further development of the company. The procurement of equipment has significantly expanded production capacity.
With the purchase of a new plot of land with an area of about 16,000 m2, we started work on its arrangement. We work intensively on the improvement of business processes by applying the ERP system of business resource planning, digital transformation, ie integration of digital technologies in all spheres of business, and complete digitalization of all production processes by applying the concept of Industry 4.0.
We have expanded production capacity by purchasing fiber lasers.
Perfom is the most technologically and personnel-equipped company in the sector of production and processing of perforated sheets, both in Serbia and region. This makes us a leading manufacturer and seller of perforated sheets and related products.
The fourth generation of the company’s founders are actively involved in the professional training and work of Perfom.
Our export markets are Germany, Austria, France, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Macedonia…
